How to Clean your Tea Kettle

My hubby and I quit the coffee habit some time ago and switched to our warm lemon water in the morning with a few extra goodies in it. Being on a well, I noticed our kettle starting to collect some mineral deposits and wanted to bring it back to its original glory. it’s so easy, and you only need one ingredient. Vinegar!

Place 2 cups of vinegar and 2 cups of water into your kettle and bring the mixture in the kettle and bring to a boil.

Continue to boil for about 5 minutes.

After the 5 minutes are up, turn the kettle off or shut your heat source off and let it sit for a couple of hours (or do it before bed and let it sit overnight).

When you look inside the next time you will be blown away! You might even be able to see your face in its reflection it will be so sparkly clean! (okay, maybe not THAT sparkly, but very clean!)

Just be sure to rinse it well before making your next brew! If you do this once and you still see some deposits, try going through the steps one more time. Some can be super stubborn if left for a long period of time.
